Royale Hayat Hospital “In the Pink”

In its continued support for Women’s Health, Royale Hayat Hospital recently participated in a fundraising evening for Breast Cancer Awareness, “In the Pink”.

Noreen Healy, Director of Nursing, at the Royale Hayat Hospital, joined by Dr. Heba Hossam, Radiologist, presented 10 complimentary Mammography and Doctor’s consultation vouchers.

“In the Pink”, the closing event for the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, was a sea of pink as ladies from the British Ladies Society and the International Women’s Group dressed in pink and came together at BSK’s Shakespeare Theater on Monday, October 27, to show support for the cause.

The all-ticketed ladies evening culminated in an auction, fashion show and raffle where the 10 Mammography vouchers were given by Royale Hayat Hospital to show support for early breast cancer screening.

The Royale Hayat Hospital was delighted to take part in spreading such an important message. Noreen confirmed this, by commenting, “Our mission is all about raising public awareness — early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer is crucial to catching the disease and thereby increasing the woman’s chance of full recovery.”

The fundraising evening left the participating women delighted, and as Noreen Healy put it, “It was a very positive evening, with a roomful of ladies coming together to raise funds for a cause so near to their hearts and to ours at the Royale Hayat Hospital.”
