First Nursing Conference: Innovation, Delegation, Empowering Nurses – A Trail for Change

For the 9th Symposium with CME/CPD points hosted by Royale Hayat Hospital, the 1st Nursing Conference was successfully conducted on 27 April 2019, Al Jouri Hall RHH. It was organized by Dr. Abubakr Elmardi, Chief Strategy Officer/HOD OBG in collaboration with Ms. Vanitha R. Sudalaimani, Chief Nursing Manager.

Our guest of honor, Ms. Marjan Gholam Reda-Lari, Nurse Director in Quality & Accreditation Directorate, Ministry of Health Kuwait, as a keynote speaker emphasized that nurses should empower & be empowered. She highlighted about series staff empowerment assessment tools & how important the staff empowering in the nursing field.



The premiere event for nursing conference has more than 90 delegates from in and around Kuwait. The session was addressing innovation, delegation, evidences based practice, leadership skill and empowerment in nursing. It brought nurses together and had an enthusiastic participation & discussion.

Dr. Omar El Khateeb, RHH Medical Director, appreciated the nurses about the effort rendered for the active participation to mold it as a structured conference.



The participants enjoyed, appreciated and were enriched by presentation given by the renowned speakers from GCC countries.

This conference had a concept of nurses to practice as a perinatal chiropractic, subsequently the ability to deliver efficient innovative, evidenced based and safely culture in intrapartum & intra operative care.

Royale Hayat Hospital who received 9 times consequently the Best Hospital Award was giving special consideration and privilege to the Nurses Continuous Education. This makes the dream came to reality.

It paved a way to improve, advance, impact involve influence and transformative in the nursing practice.

The program includes lectures, video, case discussions with question & answer session. Nurses was astonished & fruitful exchange.
